Global Citizen is hosting its 2024 Festival this Saturday in Central Park as a call on world and corporate leaders for urgent action to defeat poverty, defend the planet and demand equity.
Global Citizen, in partnership with Bridgewater Associates, will host the Economic Development Assembly in Abidjan, Côte D’ivoire On October 9-10. BHM and THOP, its affiliate agency, will be G lobal Citizen’s agency of record in Côte D’ivoire for the assembly, executing PR and communications strategy throughout the campaign.
The assembly will feature H.E Alassane Ouattara, President of Côte d’Ivoire; H.E Robert Beugré Mambé, Prime Minister of Côte d’Ivoire; Ajay Banga, President of the World Bank; Hafou Touré, CEO, HTS Partners; Hugh Evans, Co-Founder & CEO, Global Citizen; Jane Lumumba, Africa Director, High-Level Climate Champions; and Marie-Ange Saraka-Yao, Chief Resource Mobilisation & Growth Officer, Gavi.
Also expected are Matsi Modise, Africa Lead, World Climate Foundation; Mike Silverstrini, CEO, Energia; Neal Rijkenberg, Minister of Finance of Eswatini; Nialé Kaba, Minister of Planning and Development, President of the Board of Governors, African Development Bank; Nir Bar Dea, CEO, Bridgewater Associates; Nomzamo Mbatha, Actress, humanitarian, Global Citizen Ambassador; and Sherwin Charles, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Goodbye Malaria as well as Pepukaye Bardouille, Director of Bridgetown Initiative and Special Adviser on Climate Resilience; Tshepo Mahloele, Founder & Chairman, Harith General Partners; and Yvonne Chaka Chaka, legendary Singer-songwriter.
